How to verify the quality of a Fly back transformer

A flyback is not like a common transformer. The ferrite core has a space. Power is stored in the magnetic field of the core throughout the scan as the current is ramping up. On the other hand, power for the high voltage (HV) is attached to the secondary windings approximately completely when the primary current is shut off at the end of the scan

How to verify if a primary winding is of good quality or bad quality in a Flyback Transformer?

1. By means of a flyback tester, this tool recognizes the errors in primary winding by a 'ring' examination.
2. It is able to check the winding even with just one shorted twisted.
3. This meter is helpful and trouble-free to make use of.
4. Just join the probe to primary winding.
5. The state formally is an understandable 'bar graph' exhibit which demonstrate you if the flyback transformer primary winding is good quality or shorted.
6. The LOPT Tester as well is able to be used to make sure the CRT YOKE coil, B+ coil and switch mode power transformer winding.
