Smithfield Foods Experiences power outage - Culprit Faulty Transformer

Transformer burst reason for fire in BOSTON

A fire broke out at a high-rise building in Boston injuring 2 people and forced the evacuation in a entire section of the building. The incident occurred at noon on the 12th floor of One Beacon St., a 36-story building on Beacon Hill. Officials disclosed that a flash fire broke out in an electrical room. 2 men who work for the building's management systems company were in the room at the time of the fire and were heavily injured."There could have been a power heave. What were they doing near the crypt I mean there is a whole host of things," Boston Fire Department Deputy Chief Joseph Finn said. Hundreds of workers were vacated from the building, which is located right across the street from the Omni Parker House.
