ART T8 8-Channel Transformer Isolator

High class passive audio interface make use of 8 transformers to split the input and output signal grounds, thus isolating 2 systems and reducing hum and ground loop sound. The T8's audio transformers have flat, broad frequency response and hold high signal levels thus it maintains an isolated balanced output. This allows a clean, unbiased reverberation with a wide range of signal sources.

The transformers are wound for 1:1 unity gain and are considered to have about 600 ohm to 100k Ohm impedance. XLR, 1/4, and RCA connections on every inputs and outputs offer a connection flexibility. Reversible escalating ears permit either the XLRs or the 1/4 and RCA jacks on the frontage. The T8 fits simply into virtually any acoustic structure and is a clean patch point connecting all type of systems. The T8 functions great as an interface among a processor based audio workplace as well as a monitor arrangement, isolation on extended wire runs in a permanent installation, isolation of several signal sources from recording equipment, or a safer link between two audio systems.
